Key Responsibilities

Inventory and Fulfilment Management:

• Manage and execute inventory, warehouse, and fulfilment activities within grocery operations, including food and non-food products.
• Ensure perpetual stock counts (cycle counts) are conducted regularly to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Oversee replenishment of products to meet order requirements within cutoff times.
• Resolve product not found cases promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
• Maintain bin-level inventory accuracy of at least 99.5%.
• Ensure materials are available at forward stocking locations following the First Expiry First Out (FEFO) principle.
• Track expired and damaged items and coordinate their appropriate handling.

Team Management and Development:

• Identify training needs and provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
• Develop the team by facilitating skill enhancement and performance improvement.
• Address team challenges by identifying problems and implementing data-driven solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Engage effectively with external customers, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with internal cross-functional stakeholders, colleagues, and associates to drive operational excellence.
• Promote customer delight by maintaining high service standards and quick issue resolution.

Role Overview

• Handle end-to-end inventory functions within e-commerce grocery operations with a strong focus on accuracy and timely execution.
• Operate independently within defined policies and procedures, seeking guidance on complex or non-routine issues.
• Accountable for team performance and adapting departmental plans to meet resource and operational challenges.
• Apply in-depth functional expertise and business understanding to solve common business issues and contribute to operational improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong product knowledge of grocery items including both food and non-food categories.
• Experience in site inventory management within e-commerce or grocery operations preferred.
• Ability to manage and maintain inventory accuracy at a high standard (minimum 99.5%).
• Proficient in cycle counting and stock replenishment processes.
• Good leadership and people management skills with experience in team training and coaching.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data-driven approaches.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities, both internal and external.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
