Job Summary:

Responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods. Ensures smooth inventory operations to support uninterrupted production and dispatch activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of stock levels (chemicals, packaging, finished goods).
  
• Monitor stock movements and ensure timely updating in inventory systems.
  
• Coordinate with production and purchase teams for material requirements.
  
• Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile with system data.
  
• Track expiry dates and shelf life of materials, especially chemicals and paints.
  
• Ensure proper storage of materials as per safety and quality standards.
  
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
  
• Identify and report slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
  
• Maintain FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.
  
• Follow all safety and compliance guidelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in inventory/storekeeping (preferably in paint/chemical industry).
  
• Knowledge of inventory software (e.g., SAP, Tally, or ERP systems).
  
• Understanding of material handling and storage, especially chemicals.
  
• Good communication and coordination skills.
