As an SAP WM Consultant, you will be responsible for participating in and understanding business blue printing workshops. You will need to come up with To-Be discussions and map business process flows. Gathering requirements from the Warehouse & Shipping department, analyzing them, and providing solutions based on best industrial practices will be a key part of your role. Your duties will also include configuring, developing, and testing changes in the SAP Warehouse Management module for all requirements. You will perform configurations, development, and data migration in the Warehouse Management module. Additionally, you should be able to work with cross-functional modules including Material Management, Quality Management, Production Planning, and Sales & Distribution. Documenting and training other teams for newly implemented processes will also be part of your responsibilities. You should have a strong knowledge of Warehouse master data & org structure setup, Inbound process & Put-way process, Outbound shipment & Stock removal process, Warehouse internal processes & Posting change notice, Production order staging & Kanban material replenishment, Replenishment within Warehouse & Replenishment between Warehouses, WM movement types, Cycle counting, Batch Management, and Serial Management in SAP WM. Understanding of ITS mobile and RF devices with RF configuration & Queue management, Outputs, Label printing, Scanners, good knowledge on WM reports and Warehouse activity monitor, and integration knowledge of LE, WM, MM with SD, PP, QM, FI, CO modules are also required. Experience in working with LSMW, Batch job monitoring/creation, and Idoc Monitoring, as well as closely working with security teams for roles and authorization, will be beneficial.
