Inventory and Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities

Vendor & Material Sourcing

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for raw materials, event supplies, and DIY kit components (e.g., miniatures, science-art materials).
• Research alternatives for specialized materials (e.g., alternatives to Jesmonite) with focus on safety, durability, and cost efficiency.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and delivery terms with vendors.
• Create, maintain, and update a structured vendor database/list with categories, pricing history, contacts, and performance notes

Procurement & Cost Optimization

• Track material requirements and ensure timely procurement within budget.
• Maintain cost sheets, compare vendor options, and identify lowest-cost solutions without compromising quality.
• Explore creative sourcing and substitution ideas to reduce costs.

Dispatch & Logistics Management

• Coordinate courier dispatches for kits, event materials, and bulk orders across India.
• Compare courier partners, manage follow-ups, track shipments, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain detailed dispatch tracking sheets with costs, timelines, and statuses.

Operations & Tracking

• Create and maintain to-do lists, trackers, and procurement schedules in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Maintain vendor lists and update them regularly with order history, payments, and reliability metrics.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, and vendor payment follow-ups.
• Ensure all procurement and dispatch documentation is well organized and up-to-date.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Gurgaon, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Procurement & Purchasing Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)
