Internship
assists senior therapists with patient care, learning to perform assessments, create treatment plans (exercises, manual therapy, modalities), educate patients, maintain records, and handle clinic duties like cleaning and scheduling, all under supervision to gain practical skills in rehabilitation across various specialties.
Assist in patient assessments, develop/implement treatment plans, conduct therapeutic exercises, provide education on injury prevention, and use modalities (ultrasound, electrotherapy).
Work directly under experienced physiotherapists, applying theoretical knowledge and learning new techniques in real-world settings.
Maintain accurate patient records, documenting progress and treatment details.
Perform administrative tasks like handling calls, managing patient registration, cleaning treatment areas, and disinfecting equipment.
Participate in case discussions and team meetings to improve patient care strategies.
