International Reservations Sales Agent
About The Opportunity
We are hiring for a role in the global Contact Center & Customer Experience (BPO) sector that supports international travel, hospitality, and reservation channels. This on-site India role focuses on high-volume voice-led sales and booking operations for overseas markets—delivering best-in-class customer interactions, bookings, and revenue growth through reservation systems and direct customer engagement.Role & Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound international reservation calls to book flights, hotels, transfers, and ancillary services while achieving defined sales and conversion targets.
- Use global distribution systems (GDS) and CRM platforms to research availability, process bookings, issue confirmations, and update customer records accurately.
- Apply upsell and cross-sell techniques to maximize average transaction value while maintaining customer satisfaction and compliance with fare rules.
- Process secure payment authorizations and refunds in line with PCI DSS and internal policies; escalate payment exceptions promptly.
- Resolve itinerary changes, cancellations, and service disruptions, coordinating with suppliers and international stakeholders to deliver timely solutions.
- Meet quality, productivity, and attendance KPIs; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices with the team.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience in international reservations or travel/hospitality sales within a contact center environment (on-site in India).
- Fluent spoken and written English with clear voice quality for international customer interactions.
- Hands-on experience with one or more GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Travelport).
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce or equivalent) and contact center dialer software.
- Knowledge of secure payment processing and PCI DSS–aligned procedures.
- Strong revenue-generation skills: upselling, cross-selling, and objection handling for reservation products.
Preferred
- Multilingual ability (European languages, Hindi + English) for servicing diverse international markets.
- Experience with complex itinerary building and multi-supplier bookings.
- Previous exposure to airlines, hotel CRS, or tour-operator reservation workflows.
