In the role of Outbound Travel Operations Manager at EdTerra EdVenture, you will be entrusted with the crucial responsibility of meticulously planning, coordinating, and overseeing international educational tours for students. Your role will demand operational proficiency, adept vendor management skills, and a commitment to delivering seamless travel experiences that adhere to EdTerra's high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and execute outbound student tours to destinations in Asia, Europe, USA, and other regions, ensuring a balance of academic, safety, and experiential components. - Manage end-to-end operations encompassing travel bookings, visa arrangements, insurance, vendor communication, and logistics coordination. - Collaborate with schools, parents, and internal stakeholders to conduct pre-tour briefings and post-tour debriefings effectively. - Oversee group visa processing, coordinate ticketing, and manage documentation requirements efficiently. - Engage in negotiations and maintenance of vendor contracts with airlines, hotels, and transport partners to ensure quality service at cost-effective rates. - Supervise on-tour support teams and implement risk management protocols diligently. - Prepare and update tour operation reports and budgets accurately. - Uphold a standard of exceptional customer service throughout the travel journey. - Keep abreast of international travel trends, regulations, and safety protocols to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, or a related field is preferred. - 3-7 years of experience in outbound tour operations, particularly in educational/study tours or group travel. - Profound understanding of visa procedures, ticketing processes, and international travel documentation. - Proficiency in vendor management, negotiation techniques, and organizational skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with parents, teachers, and internal teams. - Familiarity with MS Office applications and travel operations software. - Willingness to travel as needed during peak operational periods.
