International Freight Broker

As a Freight Brokerage Sales Representative, your role involves generating leads, attracting new prospects, and developing a sales pipeline. You will be responsible for identifying and selecting reputable and safe freight carriers, providing shipping quotes to customers, and booking orders with carriers. Additionally, you will assist in preparing carriers for loads, monitor load statuses, and coordinate pickups and drop-offs with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers. Maintaining accurate records of activities, informing customers about shipment statuses, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent customer service and logistics management are also key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Generate leads, attract new prospects, and develop a sales pipeline. - Identify and select reputable and safe freight carriers. - Provide shipping quotes to customers. - Book orders with carriers and assist in the preparation of carriers for loads. - Monitor the status of loads and coordinate scheduled pickups and drop-offs with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers. - Maintain accurate records of pertinent activities. - Inform customers about shipment status and assist with other inquiries. - Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent customer service and logistics management. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field. - Proven experience in sales and brokerage, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Excellent organizational and time management abilities. - Knowledge of logistics processes and supply chain management principles is a plus. - Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Experience in the logistics and transportation industry is a plus.
