International Freight Broker

As a Freight Brokerage Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to generate leads, attract new prospects, and develop a robust sales pipeline. You will play a crucial role in identifying and selecting reputable and safe freight carriers, providing shipping quotes to customers, booking orders with carriers, and assisting in preparing carriers for loads. Monitoring the status of loads and coordinating scheduled pickups and drop-offs with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers will be essential in ensuring smooth logistics operations. Your role will also involve maintaining accurate records of pertinent activities, informing customers about shipment status, and addressing their inquiries promptly. By ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent customer service and effective logistics management, you will contribute significantly to the success of the organization. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field. Proven experience in sales and brokerage, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry, will be advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with excellent organizational and time management abilities, are essential for this role. Knowledge of logistics processes, supply chain management principles, and experience in the logistics and transportation industry will be beneficial. Being detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving skills, you should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver results consistently. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires working night shifts or US shifts.
