Job Description

International Business Development Manager Maritime Sales

Role & responsibilities

Develop Singapore maritime market through lead generation, client acquisition, and industry events.
Promote and sell marine supplies (technical stores, bonded stores, safety gear, spares, consumables).
Handle RFQs, proposals, contract negotiations, and sales closure.
Manage key client accounts; act as single point of contact for order execution and after-sales.
Prepare proposals with Incoterms (FOB/CFR/DDP) and finalize pricing/contracts.
Coordinate with procurement, QC, and logistics teams in Mumbai for timely fulfillment.
Oversee export documentation (Invoices, Packing List, HS Codes, COO, MSDS, Certificates).
Liaise with freight forwarders and shipping lines for delivery and compliance.
Track vessel movements, competitor activity, and provide strategic market insights.

Preferred candidate profile

Education:
Graduate in Commerce / Marine Engineering / International Trade (MBA preferred).
Experience:
5-10 years in international maritime sales, ship chandling, or offshore supply.
Skills:
B2B sales, pricing negotiation, relationship management, CRM, export documentation.
Knowledge:
Marine procurement, Incoterms, IMO/SOLAS/MARPOL compliance.
