International Accountant

As a Senior International Finance & Accounts Executive, you will be tasked with overseeing the financial operations of multiple international subsidiaries, ensuring adherence to global accounting standards and regulatory obligations. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, managing export documentation, supervising inventory valuation, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations such as transfer pricing, VAT, and FEMA guidelines. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a solid background in international finance, accounting, and cross-border financial management. Your primary duties will involve accounting for international subsidiaries, including overseeing the preparation, audit, and filing of financial statements for various subsidiaries. You will lead the month-end close process, consolidate financial data from all subsidiaries, and generate comprehensive financial reports to aid decision-making. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing export-related financial documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and maintaining accurate records of export transactions. Furthermore, you will implement and maintain robust inventory management systems to monitor stock levels, movements, and valuations, ensuring alignment with international financial reporting standards. You will also be required to develop and uphold transfer pricing policies, ensure compliance with FEMA regulations for foreign exchange transactions, and oversee timely VAT filings across operating jurisdictions. To qualify for this role, you must hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with professional certifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) being advantageous. A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience is required, with familiarity in the consumer healthcare sector and D2C business models considered beneficial. Proficiency in international financial reporting standards, transfer pricing methodologies, FEMA regulations, and VAT compliance is essential, along with strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively. Excellent communication skills are necessary to interact with international stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory authorities, while meticulous attention to detail is crucial for accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
