Job Description

  • Data Collection and Analysis

    : Gather and clean data from various sources (e.g., internal databases, market reports, and CRM systems) using tools like Excel, SQL, or Tableau to identify trends and patterns.
  • Reporting and Visualization

    :

    Create dashboards, charts, and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market share.
  • Market Research Support

    :

    Conduct competitive analysis and industry benchmarking to inform strategic recommendations, including risk assessments and opportunity identification.
  • Strategy Development Assistance

    : Contribute to the creation of business strategies by modeling scenarios (e.g., using basic forecasting techniques) and preparing data & presentation for clients & senior leadership.
  • Process Improvement

    :

    Identify inefficiencies or risk in process workflows and propose optimizations, such as automation or auditing scopes.
  • Collaboration and Learning

    : Participate in team meetings, shadow strategy sessions, and support ad-hoc projects to gain exposure to real-world business applications.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with an MBA from a Tier-1 or Tier-2 institute (e.g., IIMs, XLRI, ISB, or equivalent).
  • Strong academic background in Business Analytics, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

Past Internship or Projects:

  • Prior exposure (through internships, projects, or coursework) to data analytics, including hands-on business projects.
  • Demonstrated involvement in business growth initiatives, such as sales forecasting, marketing campaigns, or revenue optimization projects.
  • Experience in project planning and execution, ideally in collaborative settings with sales and/or marketing teams (e.g., capstone projects, club activities, or part-time roles).

Skills Preferred:

  • Technical Proficiency

    :

    Knowledge or familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio); advanced data sheets skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
  • Analytical Mindset

    : Ability to derive insights from data and connect them to business objectives.
  • Communication

    : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Ideation and Creativity

    : Proven track record of generating innovative ideas, such as through hackathons, case competitions, or strategy workshops.
  • Soft Skills

    :

    Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
