Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Intern Business Analyst to join our growing product and project team at Pqxel. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn how technology-driven businesses operate, with a passion for analyzing processes, gathering requirements, and supporting software development teams. You’ll work closely with senior analysts, developers, and clients to help translate business needs into technical solutions. This internship offers hands-on experience and mentorship in a fast-paced, real-world environment. NOTE: This is a FULL-TIME (8hrs a Day Commitment) Junior role (unpaid until completion of probation). Pqxel does not outsource any work to contractors, so please do not apply if you are currently working on multiple other projects. Responsibilities Support requirement gathering through meetings, interviews, and user research. Assist in creating business process flows, user stories, and functional specifications. Document system features, project updates, and client requirements. Help bridge communication between technical and non-technical teams. Participate in testing and validating features before release. Track and maintain project documentation using tools like Confluence and JIRA. Contribute to user training materials and internal documentation. Join daily standups, work items reviews, and retrospectives as part of the Agile team. Requirements Foundational understanding of business analysis or project management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Basic knowledge of documentation tools (e.g., Word, Excel, Google Docs). Ability to understand and explain simple technical concepts. Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn new tools and frameworks. Bachelor's degree (in progress or completed) in Business, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred, not required). Nice to Have Familiarity with JIRA, or similar task-tracking tools. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Basic understanding of databases, SQL, or wireframing tools (e.g., , Figma). Prior experience in tech, SaaS, or startup environments. Compensation Unpaid probation for the first 3 months. 3 to 6 months – ₹5,000 INR/month stipend. 6 to 12 months – ₹10,000 INR/month stipend. Project Commission: 1% of project Gross Profit (GP). For example, if Pqxel makes $20,000 GP on a project, you’ll receive 1% commission = $200 (₹12,000 INR), assuming timely delivery and full payment received from the client. Location This role is remote , but employees may be invited to attend local company events if applicable. Timings All employees are required to work 4 to 8 hours per day , including internal meetings during fixed EST hours , and complete all required timesheets and documentation .
