Interior site engineer

Job Summary:

The Interior Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day activities at interior fit-out project sites. The role includes supervising workers, coordinating with vendors and contractors, ensuring quality of work, and making sure projects are completed on time, within budget, and as per design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all interior site activities including carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and finishing works.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, vendors, and workers to ensure smooth execution of the project.
• Review and interpret interior drawings, layouts, and BOQs to ensure accuracy in execution.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained for all finishing and detailing work.
• Monitor material usage, request site materials in advance, and ensure proper storage and minimum wastage.
• Prepare and maintain daily site reports, including work progress, labor attendance, and issues faced.
• Inspect and verify installation of furniture, fixtures, fittings, and other interior elements as per specifications.
• Resolve site-level problems, delays, or conflicts quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with site safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized worksite.
• Report project progress and challenges to the Project Manager regularly.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil / Interior Design / Architecture (preferred).
• 2–5 years of proven experience as a Site Supervisor in interior fit-out projects.
• Good knowledge of interior works (false ceiling, flooring, partitions, carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret interior design drawings, technical documents, and BOQs.
• Strong leadership, team handling, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Flexibility to work on-site and travel to different project locations when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,169.03 per month
