Job Title: 3D Interior Designer & Project Visualizer

We are seeking a highly creative and technical 3D Interior Designer & Project Visualizer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming client visions into detailed, photorealistic 3D environments and managing the visual communication and technical documentation through project completion.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Design & Visualization

• 3D Modeling & Rendering: Create stunning, photorealistic 3Ds (renderings) and virtual walkthroughs of residential or commercial interior projects using industry-standard software (e.g., 3ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, V-Ray/Corona).

• Concept Development: Develop creative and functional interior design concepts, selecting appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting fixtures (FF&E).

• Visual Communication: Prepare compelling concept sheets and mood boards to clearly present design intent, aesthetic direction, and material palettes to clients and the project team.

• Detailing: Accurately model custom joinery, furniture, and structural elements to ensure visualization precision.

2. Technical Documentation

• Technical Drawings: Produce complete, detailed, and accurate technical drawings (CAD plans, elevations, sections, and details) for construction, fabrication, and municipal submission.

• Specification Sheets: Create comprehensive material and product specification lists, ensuring compliance with budget, safety regulations, and project timelines.

• Design Review: Review and coordinate technical drawings with input from architects and engineers to ensure design feasibility and structural integrity.

3. Client & Project Management

• Client Communications: Serve as a primary point of contact for design-related discussions, effectively interpreting client needs and translating them into workable design solutions.

• Presentation: Professionally present design visuals, concepts, and technical information to clients for feedback and final approval.

• Site Visits: Conduct initial site visits for accurate measurements and assessments, and perform periodic site inspections to ensure construction progresses according to the approved design and technical specifications.

• Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve design-related challenges that arise on-site, proposing practical and aesthetic solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge in 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., 3ds Max, SketchUp, Rhino) and CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit).

• Visualization Skills: Proven ability to create high-quality, realistic renderings with strong attention to lighting, texture, and composition.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, building codes, and the process of translating 3D models into accurate technical drawings.

• Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex design ideas simply and persuasively.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a professional interior design or architectural visualization role.

• Portfolio: A strong professional portfolio showcasing relevant 3D renderings and technical drawing examples is mandatory.
