Interior Designer (Modular Kitchen & Wardrobe)

Are you an interior designer who thrives on creating functional and beautifully detailed modular kitchens and wardrobes?

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design development and documentation of modular kitchens, wardrobes and built-in joinery for residential projects.
• Produce detailed technical drawings, elevations, sections, and BOMs for cabinetry, hardware, finishes and mill-work.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, fabricators and site teams to ensure design intent is carried through to installation.
• Select materials, finishes, hardware and coordinate with SCM/fabrication teams to ensure feasibility and quality.
• Conduct site visits and measurements, review shop drawings, inspect installation, and resolve on-site issues in consultation with the project team.
• Ensure design compliance with functional requirements, ergonomics, aesthetics and timelines.
• Maintain project documentation and drawings, track revisions and support project hand-over.

Required Skills & Qualification

• Bachelors in Architecture/ Interior Design is preferred

• 2–5 years of experience in interior design focusing on modular kitchens, wardrobes or built-in joinery.

• Strong technical drawing proficiency (AutoCAD or Infernia) with good understanding of cabinetry detailing, hardware specifications and mill-work processes.
• Good understanding of finishes, materials, fabrication tolerances and installation best practices.
• Excellent coordination skills- able to work with vendors, fabricators, site engineers and clients.
• Good communication skills, client-facing ability, and ability to manage multiple tasks within timelines.
• Portfolio/previous work showcasing modular kitchen or wardrobe design and detailing is preferred.
