Job Title: Interior Designer – Modular Kitchen & Wardrobe Specialist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and creative Interior Designer with hands-on experience in designing modular kitchens and wardrobes. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of modular systems, space planning, materials, and aesthetics. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the execution of modular kitchens and wardrobe installations for residential projects, ensuring optimal space utilization, functionality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to understand their lifestyle needs, space constraints, and design preferences.
  • Design functional and aesthetic modular kitchens and wardrobes using 2D/3D design tools.
  • Prepare detailed layout drawings, elevations, and material specifications.
  • Recommend finishes, hardware, accessories, and appliances based on functionality and budget.
  • Collaborate with sales, production, and installation teams to ensure accurate execution.
  • Conduct site measurements, verify feasibility, and provide on-site support during installations.
  • Ensure that designs meet ergonomic standards, brand guidelines, and client expectations.
  • Manage multiple projects, timelines, and client communications efficiently.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, finishes, fittings, and innovations in modular furniture.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • 2–5+ years of experience in modular kitchen and wardrobe design.
  • Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, 3DSMAX, 2020 Design, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of modular systems, carcass types, hardware (Hettich, Blum, Hafele, etc.), and finishes (laminates, acrylics, PU, etc.).
  • Excellent space planning, visualization, and detailing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction.
  • Portfolio of modular kitchen and wardrobe projects is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with a modular furniture brand or manufacturing unit.
  • Basic knowledge of EPT (electrical, plumbing and tiling) integration in kitchens.
  • Understanding of on-site constraints and practical execution challenges.
