Responsibilities:

• Client Interaction & Meetings:
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements.
• Present concepts, designs, and material options effectively to clients.
• Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining clear and polite communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Design Development:

• Develop and present 2D space plans, CAD drawings, and detailed 3D models using

  SketchUp and AutoCAD

  .
• Create mood boards, design concepts, and material palettes that align with client expectations and project requirements.
• Compile detailed material lists and specifications to support project execution.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as mood boards, concept notes, and presentation decks.
• Ensure designs adhere to industry standards, dimensions, and functionality for furniture and interior elements.

Project Execution:

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of designs.
• Conduct site visits to oversee the progress and ensure alignment with design specifications.
• Resolve on-site challenges promptly and effectively.

Material Knowledge & Sourcing:

• Stay updated on the latest materials, finishes, and trends in the industry.
• Source and recommend materials that balance aesthetics, functionality, and budget.

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Prepare project timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Maintain organized documentation for designs, revisions, material lists, and client approvals.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Background:

  Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or an equivalent field.

• Technical Expertise:

  Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.

• Material Knowledge:

  In-depth understanding of various materials, finishes, and furniture industry dimensions.

Soft Skills:

• Strong conversational and interpersonal skills.
• Polite, punctual, and professional demeanour.
• Initiative-taking with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a dynamic environment.

• Work Experience:

  3+ years

  in interior design or a related field with a portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
