Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dynamic websites and web applications using PHP and MVC frameworks.
• Work with databases, primarily MySQL, to manage and retrieve data efficiently.
• Customise and manage CMS platforms such as Magento, Joomla, and WordPress.
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to implement responsive and interactive front-end features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Stay updated with emerging web technologies and apply them to operations and activities.
  

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in PHP, MVC architecture, and MySQL
• Experience with frameworks like Laravel and CakePHP
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms : Magento, Joomla, WordPress
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and reusable code
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Knowledge of web security best practices
