Integration Developer

As an Integration Developer / Automation Engineer at Zill Consulting, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and optimizing workflows across our technology ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include: - Integration Development - Building and maintaining integrations across business platforms using REST APIs, JSON, and secure authentication protocols. - Designing and implementing data pipelines between systems such as CRM, ERP, analytics tools, and customer-facing apps. - Automation & Workflow Engineering - Developing automation scripts and tools using Python or VBA to streamline recurring processes. - Applying JavaScript and CSS to customize front-end workflows, dashboards, or embedded solutions. - Optimizing processes for speed, reliability, and maintainability. - Solution Design & Delivery - Partnering with business and technical stakeholders to identify pain points and translate them into scalable solutions. - Prototyping and delivering end-to-end workflow solutions that connect data, systems, and users. - Applying best practices in performance, security, and maintainability. - Support & Continuous Improvement - Troubleshooting API calls, integration failures, and automation breakdowns. - Monitoring and refining workflows to ensure reliability and cost-efficiency. - Documenting technical solutions and providing knowledge transfer to teams. Qualifications for this role include: - Proven experience with REST APIs, JSON, and data integration. - Strong proficiency in Python (for automation, data processing) and/or VBA (for Office automation). - Experience with JavaScript and CSS for front-end customizations. - Solid understanding of automation frameworks, error handling, and secure authentication. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. - Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into business language. Preferred Skills: - SQL skills for querying and transforming data. - Experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). - Familiarity with workflow automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Power Automate, UiPath). - Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). - Understanding of Agile delivery and CI/CD practices.
