Insurance Executive

Job Summary

The Insurance Executive – Automobile Insurance is responsible for selling, managing, and servicing motor insurance policies. The role involves advising customers on suitable automobile insurance products, handling policy issuance and renewals, coordinating claims, and ensuring high customer satisfaction while meeting business targets.

Key Responsibilities

Promote and sell automobile insurance policies (private cars, two-wheelers, commercial vehicles)

Explain policy features, coverage, premiums, and exclusions clearly to customers

Generate new leads through calls, visits, referrals, and partnerships

Process policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations

Assist customers with claim intimation and documentation

Coordinate with surveyors, workshops, and insurance companies during claims

Maintain accurate customer records and policy documentation

Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company guidelines

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets

Build long-term relationships with clients and dealers

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)

Certification or license in insurance (as per local regulatory requirements)

Knowledge of automobile insurance products and motor vehicles is an advantage

Basic understanding of automobiles and motor insurance terms

Attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency in MS Office and insurance software/CRM systems

Experience

1–3 years of experience in insurance sales or automobile insurance (preferred)

Freshers with strong sales aptitude may also be considered

Work Environment

Office-based with frequent field visits

Interaction with customers, vehicle dealers, workshops, and insurers

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
