Job Description

The ideal candidate for the Instrumentation Engineer position should have a strong background in designing, installing, and maintaining instrumentation systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement and control systems within our operations. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and implementing instrumentation systems for various applications. You will also be required to install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency will be a crucial part of your role. Additionally, you should have vast knowledge in Automation (PLC, SCADA, and HMI). It is essential for you to develop and maintain documentation for instrumentation systems, including schematics, calibration records, and maintenance procedures. Collaborating with other engineering teams to integrate instrumentation systems with broader control systems and processes is also part of the job. Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in instrumentation engineering will be necessary. Providing technical support and training to staff on instrumentation systems and procedures is also expected. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a similar role within a chemical plant or Thermal power plant. A Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required. Skills required for this role include proven experience as an Instrumentation Engineer or a similar role. Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, including sensors, transmitters, and control systems is essential. Experience with calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation equipment is also necessary. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to instrumentation is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication, and teamwork abilities are highly valued. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for individuals with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a similar role within a chemical plant or a Thermal power plant. A Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required. Strong knowledge and experience in designing, installing, and maintaining instrumentation systems are essential. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication and teamwork abilities are also important.
