Core Responsibilities Instrumentation Design & Integration Design and implement control systems for textile machinery (e.g., looms, dyeing machines, spinning units). Select and calibrate sensors for parameters like tension, temperature, humidity, and speed. Process Monitoring & Automation Develop systems to monitor real-time production metrics. Automate processes to reduce manual intervention and improve consistency. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation systems. Diagnose faults in PLCs, SCADA systems, and field instruments. Quality Control Support Ensure instruments provide accurate data for quality assurance. Collaborate with quality teams to maintain product standards. Data Acquisition & Analysis Implement data logging systems to track production trends. Analyze data to identify inefficiencies or deviations. Technical Skills Required Knowledge of PLCs, SCA DA, and DCS systems Familiarity with textile-specific machinery and processes Understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus) Proficiency in calibration and validation of sensors and transducers Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate systems. Coordinate with production managers to align instrumentation with operational goals. Support R&D teams in testing new textile technologies. Strategic Contributions Drive energy efficiency by optimizing control systems. Contribute to Industry 4.0 initiatives through smart factory solutions. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations .
