Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer, located in the Mohali India. The role involves developing, IoT electrical and instrumentation systems for maritime applications. Day-to-day tasks include process control optimization, electrical system diagnostics, and ensuring all instrumentation functions align with operational standards. The engineer will collaborate closely with other departments to enhance system performance and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Second part of the job is performing on-site integration on ships, internationally.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proficiency in Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, retrofitting and installation Instrumentation and industrial automation systems
• Support IIoT equipment development
• Knowledge of network infrastructure
• Proficiency in modbus, canbus/canopen
• Knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of Process Control in industrial settings
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field
• Experience in Industry 4.0 or digital solutions is an added advantage
• Ready to travel at a moment's notice internationally
• Candidate must be ready to work in high stress environment onboard ships/oil rigs.
