Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Instrumentation Design and Commissioning Engineer to design, develop, and commission instrumentation and control systems for our water treatment plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of instrumentation principles, control systems, and project management.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and Development: - Design instrumentation and control systems for water treatment processes. - Create P&IDs, loop diagrams, and documentation for instrumentation and control systems. - Select and specify instrumentation and control equipment. 2. Commissioning: - Commission instrumentation and control systems, ensuring they meet design specifications and functional requirements. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues during commissioning and startup. 3. Project Management: - Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. - Coordinate with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients. 4. Documentation and Testing: - Develop and maintain documentation, including design documents, test procedures, and commissioning records. - Conduct testing and validation of instrumentation and control systems. Skill Set: 1. Education: - Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Control Systems Engineering. 2. Technical Skills: - Strong understanding of instrumentation principles, including sensors, transmitters, and control valves. - Experience with control systems, including DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems. - Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD or SmartPlant Instrumentation. Soft Skills: - Excellent communication and project management skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 4. Experience: - Minimum 5-7 years of experience in instrumentation design and commissioning, preferably in water treatment or similar industries.
