Instrumentation & Control Engineer

Job Summary:

To design, install, maintain, and enhance instrumentation systems that monitor and control engineering systems, machinery, and industrial processes, we are looking for a qualified Instrumentation & Process Control Engineer. The ideal applicant will use efficient instrumentation and control systems to guarantee safe, effective, and optimised plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop instrumentation and control systems for new and existing processes.
• Specify, select, and calibrate sensors, transmitters, controllers, valves, and actuators.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers for seamless integration.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality systems.
• Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) for instrumentation.
• Support plant commissioning, start-up, and maintenance activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including P&IDs, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and control narratives.
• Analyze process data and trends to optimize performance and reduce downtime.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chromepet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• instrumentation field: 7 years (Preferred)
