Instrumentation & Control Engineer – Technical Services

Bangalore Engineering Office

📌 Reports to: Director – Electrical Engineering

Instrumentation & Control Engineer

You will evaluate I&C equipment options, prepare technical bid packages, support EPC reviews, advise on DCS/SCADA architecture, troubleshoot operational plant issues and ensure knowledge transfer across project phases.

Key Responsibilities

Support bid development: equipment evaluation, configuration design, cost comparisons.
Present I&C technical risks, opportunities and system design to senior management.
Review EPC design packages and provide technical guidance to project teams.
Analyse operational data and feed lessons learned into new bids.
Provide expertise in DCS, SCADA, telecoms, cybersecurity and control system architecture.
Support NOMAC and EPC teams in solving complex engineering issues.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering.
8–10 years’ experience in power/utilities (O&M/EPC/Developer).
Deep understanding of control systems, DCS, SCADA and telecoms.
Strong familiarity with IEC/IEEE/ISO standards.
Experience applying cybersecurity principles in control systems.
Ability to communicate complex issues and support cross-functional teams.
