Electrical Design Lead

As the Electrical Design Lead at the Renewables Engineering Office in Bangalore, you will take ownership of electrical design activities across BESS, Wind, and Solar PV projects, ensuring optimized, reliable, and cost-effective designs. You will play a crucial role in preparing and coordinating Basic Design & FEED packages, validating external designs, and providing critical engineering support throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Lead electrical design and BoP engineering for renewable energy projects including Solar PV, Wind, and BESS. - Prepare and validate Basic Engineering & FEED documents such as design basis reports, SLDs, and electrical calculations. - Support bid preparation and investment reviews to ensure technical consistency and cost optimization. - Guide EPC contractors and cross-functional teams to ensure design excellence and compliance with global standards. - Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to enhance project efficiency and reliability. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred). - 10-15 years of relevant experience in the Renewable Power and Utilities sector. - Strong technical command of tools including ETAP, CYMCAP, PVSYST, and AutoCAD. - Deep knowledge of Power Systems, Electrical BoP Design, and Equipment Specifications.
