We are seeking experienced and creative Instructional Designers to join our team at multiple levels. This role involves the analysis, design, development, and evaluation of high-impact learning solutions across digital, virtual, and classroom formats. Depending on your seniority, you will contribute individually or lead a team of designers to deliver innovative, engaging, and learner-centered training programs aligned with business goals. Remote Opportunity Key Responsibilities: 1. Learning Needs Analysis & Solution Architecture Conduct training needs assessments , audience analysis, and job/task analysis to determine instructional goals. Engage with stakeholders, clients, and SMEs to gather content, define learning objectives, and align learning strategy with business outcomes. Analyze project requirements for scope, complexity, and technology constraints to determine optimal learning formats. Design curriculum maps, learning journeys, and training plans tailored to target learner groups. 2. Instructional Design & Content Development Develop instructional strategies using adult learning theories (e.g., Andragogy, Bloom’s Taxonomy, Gagné’s Events of Instruction, Merrill’s Principles). Apply ID models such as ADDIE, SAM, Agile Learning Design, and Rapid Prototyping. Design and author: Storyboards (for WBTs, ILTs, vILTs) Content outlines , ISMs (Instructional Strategy Maps) Scripts for simulations, videos, interactive games, role plays, and assessments Job aids , quick reference guides, infographics, and other performance support tools Visualize and collaborate with graphic designers and animators for development of high-fidelity eLearning content. 3. Authoring and Technology Integration: Use eLearning authoring tools such as: Articulate Storyline 360 Articulate Rise 360 Adobe Captivate Vyond Camtasia, Snagit Integrate learning content with LMS platforms and ensure SCORM/xAPI/HTML5 compliance. Experience with digital adoption tools (e.g., WalkMe, SAP Enable Now) and ERP environments (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle) is an added advantage. 4. Quality Assurance & Documentation Review instructional deliverables for: Alignment with learning objectives Instructional integrity and engagement Language and tone consistency Compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1 , Section 508) Maintain structured version control and documentation for: Design documents, storyboards, reviews, client feedback Guidelines, standards, and checklists Ensure timely and defect-free delivery of outputs through peer/self reviews and check-ins. 5. Client & Stakeholder Management: Conduct design walkthroughs and present solutions to clients and leadership teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, graphic and media developers, programmers, and QA. Participate in proposal writing for RFI, RFP, RFQ , and solution estimations. Address client feedback professionally and align deliverables to dynamic expectations. 6. Team Leadership, Mentoring, and Performance Management (Applicable for Lead/AIDM/IDM roles) Lead and mentor teams of Instructional Designers across projects. Conduct training sessions , ID knowledge sharing, and upskilling workshops. Track and analyze team performance in terms of quality, timeline, and effort metrics. Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support team development plans. Conduct random audits and maintain process discipline across documentation and delivery pipelines. 7. Innovation & Knowledge Contribution Stay abreast with emerging learning technologies , industry standards, and best practices. Propose innovative formats, microlearning strategies, gamification approaches, and immersive technologies (e.g., AR/VR). Author white papers, case studies, and frameworks for internal and external publication. Contribute ideas for industry awards and innovation showcases . Preferred Skills & Experience: Level Experience 3 to 15 years of experience Proficiency with rapid authoring tools (Storyline, Rise, Captivate, Vyond) Experience with LMS/LCMS platforms and understanding of SCORM/xAPI/AICC standards Working knowledge of accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG 2.0/2.1) Excellent written and verbal communication , presentation, and facilitation skills Analytical thinker with the ability to solve instructional challenges creatively Strong project and time management skills ; ability to manage multiple priorities Education & qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate in Arts (English) , Science , Education , Instructional Design , Mass Communication , or Journalism Professional certification in Instructional Design (e.g., from ATD, NASSCOM, or a recognized university/edtech platform) is highly preferred.
