Position Summary

At Solique, we dont just offer services—we shape solutions. As a Pre-Sales Business Development Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of translating our diverse offerings into meaningful client conversations. From simplifying regulatory complexities to positioning advanced AI tools, your role is about connecting the dots between what we do and what businesses need. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role where entrepreneurial thinking is celebrated, curiosity is encouraged, and every pitch is a chance to build something lasting.


Functional Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential business clients through cold calling, email outreach, and social media.
  • Understand clients' needs and present relevant solutions and services.
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings or demos for senior consultants.
  • Manage and maintain CRM data, update sales pipeline, and generate weekly reports.
  • Follow up consistently to nurture leads through the sales funnel.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and advisory teams to improve campaign performance.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Work closely with leadership, service heads, and product teams to understand and articulate Solique’s value proposition across Advisory, Accounting, and Tech verticals
  • Develop client-focused presentations, proposals, and pitch decks tailored to industry-specific pain points
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects across verticals and geographies
  • Own and contribute to building and managing revenue goals assigned

Personal Attributes and Experience

  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a flair for understanding diverse business models.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills—verbal, visual, and written.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, preferably in professional services or SaaS/Tech environments.
  • Prior experience in pre-sales, consulting, or strategic BD roles is preferred.

Qualifications Required

  • 2 to 6 years of experience in pre-sales, business consulting, or B2B sales strategy roles.
  • Exposure to professional services (Advisory, Tax, Accounting) and/or SaaS/AI products will be a strong advantage.

Education

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
  • MBA or equivalent will be a plus.

Language

  • Excellent proficiency in English is a must.
  • Working knowledge of Tamil or other Indian languages is an added advantage.
