Job Description

Job Title : Infrastructure Specialist – System Administration (Control-M)Experience : 5 - 8Location : pan indiaWe are looking for an experienced

Infrastructure Specialist – System Administration (Control-M)

with strong expertise in

Control-M administration

and system operations. The ideal candidate will have at least

6+ years of hands-on experience

in Control-M, covering configurations, job creation, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting. The role requires ensuring operational efficiency, automation, and reliability in batch processing environments.

Key Responsibilities

Perform administration, configuration, and management of Control-M environments.
Create, schedule, monitor, and maintain batch jobs to meet business requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve job failures, performance issues, and scheduling conflicts.
Implement automation and optimization within Control-M to improve operational efficiency.
Manage user access, roles, and security policies within Control-M.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow execution.
Provide root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring job failures and implement preventive measures.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, ITIL practices, and audit requirements.
Participate in on-call support for critical incidents and batch operations.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of experience in Control-M administration.
Strong knowledge of Control-M configurations, scheduling, and automation.
Hands-on expertise in job creation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in batch automation and workflow optimization.
Experience in Unix/Linux and Windows system administration.
Familiarity with scripting languages (Shell, PowerShell, or Python).
Good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem management).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
