Overview:

Infrastructure Lead – AWS

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure.
• Oversee on-premises infrastructure and ensure seamless integration with cloud systems.
• Configure and maintain VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, and load balancers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AWS services, Linux/Windows systems, storage, and networking.
• Develop and manage automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency; implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Optimize cloud costs through effective monitoring and resource utilization strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to align technical solutions with organizational objectives.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for operational procedures, architecture, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)

  is mandatory.

Experience:

• Minimum

  6+ years

  of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture, with significant hands-on experience in AWS.
• Proven track record in

  managing and leading infrastructure teams

  .
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, and IAM.
• Exposure to hybrid (on-prem + cloud) environments.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of

  Linux systems (command-line expertise)

  , Windows servers, and enterprise networking (DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, VPN, Load Balancers).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as

  Python, Bash, or PowerShell

  .
• Experience with IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar).
• Strong grasp of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, etc.).
• Working knowledge of other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
