In the role of Infrastructure and Enterprise Engineer II at Expedia Group, you will be a key member of the Security Engineering & Technology Operations team responsible for Technical Operations within one of the largest eCommerce companies in the world. Your primary focus will be on responding to and resolving major service impacting events in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Drive the resolution of major incidents to ensure the quickest possible service restoration - Collaborate with operational and development support teams, business partners, and customers to achieve goals and drive improvement - Repair impacted services directly where opportunities exist - Serve as the first level of escalation for issues in the Expedia Group production environment - Maintain high availability for multiple online travel websites by leveraging monitoring and support tools - Develop internal tools and process improvements in proactive and reactive settings - Provide timely and accurate communication to internal stakeholders and external business partners via outage notifications - Troubleshoot and triage complex technical issues spanning multiple teams and areas of responsibility - Collaborate with global teammates and technical teams to gather critical incident details and post-incident action items **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent demonstrated IT work experience - 3+ years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure Engineering roles - Experience with Okta administration, integration, policies, and MFA - Familiarity with ISC frameworks and practical implementation - Understanding of PKI infrastructure, SSL/TLS, and certificate management best practices - Experience managing resources in AWS - Ability to troubleshoot large, complex systems with an eCommerce emphasis - Deep understanding in support of Microsoft Server OS versions, Linux Operating systems - Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills In addition to the qualifications required, you should have experience working in high-pressure, dynamic environments and managing resources in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with secrets management tools, monitoring fundamentals, and internet architectures will be beneficial for this role. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a globally distributed team are essential.
