Role Description Specifies, designs, codes and takes responsibility for the Data Quality Solution based on Informatica DQ. Selects appropriate design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures and ensures they are applied effectively and along standard. Reviews systems designs to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources, and integration of multiple systems and technology. Sets policy and standards for solution development projects. Promotes benefits of addressing security issues. Identifies, proposes, and initiates software/ process improvements within the organization, devising solutions. Supports the design of system architecture and related interfaces. Coaches Application Developers in software development capabilities. Steers and controls the integration build, accepts software modules from software developers, and produces software builds for loading into the target environment. 2st & 3nd level IT support Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities Adhere to security and control, and change control processes Design, develop and maintain Informatica DQ solutions/processes to meet support and/or project requirements. Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code. Work with IT support teams to ensure support and project requirements are developed and successfully implemented Responsible for the full System Development Life Cycle and the operation of the IFRS17 Informatica DQ Work with business team to complete acceptance testing and participate in integration testing Participate in production support/ duty rotation including weekend and off-hour support coverage Provide Solution Delivery Methodology artefacts associated with application components. Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages of development Key Competencies & Skills Required Informatica solutions, especially Data Quality Design and execute a Data Quality Audit/Assessment Design and execute the data quality mappings that will cleanse, de-duplicate, and otherwise prepare the project data Implement data quality processes Experience in all components of software delivery with concentration in requirements, design and development. Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to multi-task effectively Perform application support Ability to learn new technologies and methodologies degree in Computer Science or equivalent or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience Knowledge & Experience Minimum 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) toolset and proficiency in IDQ development around data profiling (see also technical Skills) and system operations Excellent knowledge on Informatica platform as a whole and the integration among different Informatica components and services Excellent data analysis and data profiling skills using Informatica Experience as a senior developer or Technical Lead of a developer team in project or operations Significant experience of Service Management, Change and Release Management and Quality Management techniques gained through IT program / project delivery and in an IT support environment.
