Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Industrial HR professional to manage end-to-end compliance operations, drive timely recruitment and onboarding processes, and address employee grievances effectively. The role demands a good understanding of labour laws, statutory requirements, industrial relations, and workforce engagement in a factory or plant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance & Operations:

  • Ensure adherence to all statutory compliances under Labour Laws, Factories Act, Minimum Wages Act, ESIC, PF, and other applicable regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date statutory records, registers, and returns.
  • Coordinate with statutory bodies and auditors for inspections and audits.
  • Monitor contractor compliance – review labour license, wage disbursement, muster rolls, and related documentation.
  • Prepare and submit timely reports to management on compliance status.
  • Implement and review SOPs related to HR operations within the industrial setup.

Hiring & Onboarding:

  • Understand manpower requirements in coordination with production and department heads.
  • Handle recruitment for blue-collar and shop-floor roles, including sourcing, screening, and shortlisting.
  • Coordinate with manpower agencies and contractors for timely deployment.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding, induction, and documentation for new joiners.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of employee personal files and records.
  • Conduct joining formalities, introduction to policies, and workplace norms.

Employee Relations & Grievance Handling:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances and workplace conflicts.
  • Address issues in a timely, fair, and consistent manner, escalating when required.
  • Conduct regular interactions with workers and supervisors to understand concerns on the ground.
  • Implement disciplinary actions in line with company policy and labour laws.
  • Support initiatives to maintain harmonious industrial relations and employee morale.
  • Organize awareness sessions on workplace policies, safety, and welfare measures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate / Post Graduate in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant HR experience in an industrial or factory setting.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, labour laws, and industrial relations.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with workers and contractors.
  • Problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and HR systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
