Role Overview

creative yet manufacturing-oriented Industrial Designer (minimum 3 years of experience)

What You’ll Do

• Design innovative and ergonomic product concepts
• Develop sketches, CAD models, prototypes, and detailed 3D renderings.
• Work closely with manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers to translate designs into manufacturable products.
• Select appropriate

  materials, finishes, and production techniques

  based on cost, durability, and scalability.
• Apply

  Design for Manufacturing (DFM)

  and

  Design for Assembly (DFA)

  principles to optimize efficiency.
• Support prototyping through

  3D printing, machining, and rapid prototyping methods

  .
• Conduct design reviews with manufacturers to ensure product quality and feasibility.
• Collaborate with engineers, healthcare experts, and branding teams to deliver holistic product solutions.
• Contribute to documentation and technical drawings for vendor handovers.

Who You Are

• An

  industrial/product designer

  with

  minimum 3 years of professional experience

  , preferably in consumer products, medical devices, or hardware startups.
• Skilled in

  CAD software

  (SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, etc.) and

  rendering tools

  (KeyShot, Blender, Adobe Suite).
• Hands-on experience in

  prototyping, 3D printing, material selection, and vendor collaboration

  .
• Practical knowledge of

  manufacturing processes

  (injection molding, sheet metal, machining, plastic/rubber parts, etc.).
• Strong understanding of

  ergonomics, usability, and human-centered design

  .
• Able to balance

  creativity with constraints

  like cost, durability, regulatory standards, and manufacturability.
• Experienced in

  working with manufacturers and suppliers

  to bring products from concept to production.
• Strong visualization, sketching, and storytelling skills.
