Quality Control: Monitor food quality and consistency in taste and presentation, adhering to established standards. Ingredient Management: Select and source high-quality ingredients, monitor stock, and place orders as needed. Kitchen Operations: Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and operates efficiently, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Team Leadership: Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient working environment. Recipe Development: Innovate and develop new recipes and menu items, potentially including seasonal specials. Qualifications:- Experience: Proven experience as an Indian Chef or in a similar culinary role. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of traditional and contemporary Indian cooking techniques and spices. Food Safety: Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices; ServSafe certification may be preferred. Education: A culinary degree or equivalent certification is often preferred but not always required. Soft Skills: Excellent time management, organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Essential Skills Indian Cuisine & Culinary Arts, Recipe Development & Standardization, Kitchen Management & Food Safety, Inventory Management, and Team Leadership & Training.
