GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE: The candidate will be responsible for providing contract support (administration, workflow management, drafting, reviewing, and redlining). The candidate should demonstrate strong learning curve and be able to work with minimal supervision. This person must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, timely and efficient. Strong English written and verbal communication skills, decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Accurate and timely drafting, reviewing, vetting and redlining of contracts. Contract administration and workflow management support Supporting ad-hoc projects and initiatives that may be allocated from time to time. Support on engagement with external counsel, including, preparing briefs, collating evidence and first level drafts. Manage and analyze legal data and track case progress. Support in corporate secretarial work which does not require advanced knowledge. First level review of Corporate filings, Corporate records (Minutes of Meetings, Statutory registers) and to respond to basic queries from internal stakeholders. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Demonstrate strong learning curve and agility. Have good Microsoft Office skills: basic MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, MS Teams. Have good oral and written communication skills. Be able to work on contract management tools. Have good judgment skills for timely escalation, internally and with clients. Be proactive and strive to develop self-knowledge and skills to stay relevant. Be a team player. Be sensitive to deadlines - effortlessly manage deadlines and competing priorities without delay or compromising on quality.
