Job Description




The In-House Sales representative is responsible for driving sales within a company by managing customer relationships, providing product information, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team. The In-House Sales representative plays a crucial role in generating revenue and supporting the sales team in achieving ambitious targets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers via phone, email, and in-person to understand their needs and identify sales opportunities.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Maintain and update customer records in the company database, ensuring accurate and timely information entry.
  • Support the sales team by preparing quotes, proposals, and sales contracts.
  • Follow up with leads to nurture relationships and encourage sales conversions.
  • Coordinate with marketing departments to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in conducting market research to identify new sales opportunities and trends.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance sales skills and stay informed about product offerings.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics to assess progress towards goals.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales objectives and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position the company's products.

Qualifications

A typical In-House Sales representative should possess a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, along with relevant sales experience. Strong interpersonal skills, a results-oriented mindset, and proficiency in CRM software are essential for success in this role.
