Job Posting: In-House Legal Counsel – Building Materials Manufacturing & Solar Technologies

About the Role:
Join our fast-growing group as an In-House Legal Counsel, supporting our building materials manufacturing, solar farms, and solar technology businesses. You will lead all legal, compliance, contract, and regulatory activities, ensuring business operations are robust and risk-mitigated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise teams on manufacturing, renewable energy, project, and regulatory legal matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts—EPCs, supply chain, land acquisition, technology partnerships, PPAs, and more.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance: building codes, Factory Act, pollution control, grid and electricity rules, labor law.
• Manage disputes and litigation, including land, labor, vendor, IP, and regulatory cases.
• Oversee land due diligence for solar projects, ensuring clear titles and documentation.
• Safeguard corporate governance and statutory records for group companies.
• Interface with government and regulatory authorities for required approvals.
• Train teams on compliance, safety, and legal protocols.

Requirements:

• LLB/LLM (Law) from a recognized institution.
• 3–5 years experience in manufacturing and/or renewable energy legal roles.
• Knowledge of environmental, energy, land, commercial, and IP law.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred:
Experience in building materials, solar farms, and solar licensing strongly desired.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
