Immersive Experience Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Create wireframes, user flows, interaction maps, and immersive prototypes to communicate design concepts clearly.
• Design visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces and spatial interactions for XR applications across VR, AR, and MR.
• Conduct user research, learner studies, and contextual inquiries to inform experience design.
• Collaborate closely with developers and 3D teams to implement interaction concepts in real time engines.
• Conduct usability testing and experience evaluations to assess learning effectiveness and refine solutions.
• Ensure consistency in visual style, interaction patterns, and spatial design language across XR products.
• Stay updated with emerging XR technologies, device capabilities, and industry best practices.
• Work closely with product managers, instructional designers, subject matter experts, and developers to deliver high quality immersive learning solutions.
• Support the on site rollout of XR training products including installation, configuration, customer demonstrations, system testing, session supervision, and operational troubleshooting.
• Capture on site insights that help improve the design, performance, and usability of immersive products.

We are looking for

• A minimum of two years of experience as a UI or UX Designer with proven work in immersive or spatial experience design.
• Demonstrated proficiency working with Unity engine for designing and validating real time interactions.
• Understanding of spatial design principles supported by experience in XR training industry.
• Strong understanding of human factors, ergonomics, and interaction principles specific to immersive environments.
• A high quality portfolio demonstrating XR or VR design work is required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
• A creative mindset with excellent attention to detail and visual quality.
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving technologies and design trends within the XR ecosystem.
• Willingness to travel and support on site implementation and operations of immersive training systems.
• This role is based in Chennai with limited flexibility for remote work.
