Role: Logistics Manager

Role Description:

A Manager of Logistics plays a crucial role in overseeing the movement, and distribution of goods across all the plants. Their job description typically includes a wide range of responsibilities.

Qualification:

Post Graduate: MBA - Supply Chain / MM / General - Full time.

Gradguate: Engineer - Any/ BSC- MSC - Full time

Experience

A Minimum of 15+ years Experience and should have Minimum 5 Years experience in Seed Industry

Roles & Responsibilities

Ensure Compliance with organisational / Logistics policies/SOP's
Prepare, present & seek approvals for Logistics expenditure as per DOA
Preparation of seasonal & Yearly Budget for Inward and Outward

Logistics -Vendor Management

Identify opportunities for Logistics process improvements for making cost effective decisions.
Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies. Establish contingency
Responsible for end-to-end Inbound & Outbound logistics operations
Optimizing and coordinating full order cycle, transportation and ensuring customer services
Able understanding of import/export related logistics and documentation
Timely submission of MIS reports including financial year closing

Logistics - Budget Vs Actual spend.
Cost Analysis
Vendor Management
On time deliveries
Truck efficiency utilisation.
