Job Description

Skills & Qualifications :

1. Product Packing & Presentation

Pack retail products (apparel, accessories, cosmetics, electronics, FMCG items, etc.) according to company standards.
Ensure correct folding, wrapping, sealing, and bagging based on product type.
Maintain consistent product presentation for shelves, display units, and shipments.

2. Labelling & Compliance

Apply price tags, barcodes, MRP stickers, and branding labels accurately.
Verify label accuracy: SKU, size, color, batch number, expiry date (if applicable).
Follow specific standards for sensitive categories like cosmetics, food items, or electronics.

3. Quality & Damage Control

Inspect products before packing to ensure they are defect-free.
Report damaged, missing, or mislabelled items to supervisors.
Ensure packaging protects the product during storage, movement, and customer handling.

4. Process Efficiency

Follow packing SOPs to achieve daily productivity targets.
Maintain clean and organized packing workstations.
Suggest improvements to packing methods to reduce time and material usage.

Required

Diploma/Degree in Packaging Technology or related field.
2 - 7 years of experience in the packaging/packing industry (corrugated, flexible, rigid packing, etc.).
Hands-on knowledge of packaging materials, packaging machinery, and testing standards.
Strong understanding of packing workflows and line operations.
