Job Summary

The IEC Activity Coordinator will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring IEC (Information, Education & Communication) activities under Swachh Bharat Mission and Waste Management Awareness programs. The role involves community engagement, conducting awareness drives, behaviour change communication, and field documentation.

Eligibility

• Female candidates only
• Graduation in Social Work / Development Studies / Environmental Science / Humanities
• 3–5 years of experience in IEC Activities, Swachh Bharat Mission, Community Mobilization, or NGO field projects
• Gujarati/Hindi speaking (mandatory), Basic English preferred
• Willingness to travel for field visits, community interaction & awareness drives
• Must be willing to relocate to Vrindavan (accommodation & food provided)

Key Skills Required

• Strong communication & public speaking skills
• Understanding of IEC/BCC awareness models
• Community mobilization & behaviour change engagement
• Ability to plan/execute field events & awareness campaigns
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Report Writing)
• Interpersonal skills — empathy, leadership, patience, problem-solving
• Ability to work with schools, SHGs, village communities & volunteers

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct IEC activities under SBM, Waste Management & Swachhata Awareness
• Organize school campaigns, rallies, door-to-door drives, community meetings
• Execute key activities such as:

✓ Waste segregation demonstration
✓ Cleanliness campaigns✓ Plastic-free awareness✓ Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) sessions

• Coordinate with schools, SHGs, volunteers & community leaders
• Prepare daily reports, photos, videos, and documentation as required
• Support in tender-based documentation, data collection & field monitoring
• Manage event material, attendance sheets & logistic arrangements
• Represent the NGO professionally during meetings & public interactions
