Hydraulic Engineer

Senior Engineer - Hydraulics Installation

We are looking for a Hydraulics Design Engineer to work on installation and design of hydraulic systems for large mining products (Trucks, Loaders, Scrapers, Underground equipment, etc.).

This role involves concept development, component/system design, supplier collaboration, and supporting builds/testing at site.

Location: Chennai/Bengaluru

Experience: 4-10 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Hose/tube & mounting bracket design in Creo.
• Hydraulic component placement, routing, and system integration.
• Interpret and troubleshoot hydraulic schematics.
• Support prototype/pilot builds and on-machine tests.
• Validate hydraulic components & perform design calculations.
• Bolted joint analysis & FEA (Creo Simulate or equivalent).
• Apply APQP, GD&T, and BOM management.
• Collaborate with global teams and suppliers, support NPI and aftermarket.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on design experience in hydraulics systems/components.
• Proficiency in Creo and understanding of hydraulic schematics.
• Knowledge of material properties, hose fittings, and manufacturing processes.
• Good analytical & problem-solving skills.
