1. Job Summary:We are seeking a C2 Level skilled HVR Administrator to join our team for a critical data migration project at GE Vernova. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the migration of data from GE's OneStream ERP system to a new data lake using HVR (High Volume Replication). This role involves the initial installation and configuration of HVR on a new instance, ensuring seamless data replication and integration. 2.Key Responsibilities:HVR Installation and Configuration:Install and configure HVR on the new instance. Set up HVR hub, channels, and locations for data replication. Data Migration:Plan and execute the migration of data from OneStream ERP to the new data lake. Monitor and troubleshoot data replication processes to ensure data integrity and consistency. System Management:Maintain and optimize HVR configurations for performance and reliability. Implement and manage Change Data Capture (CDC) processes. Collaboration:Work closely with the Data Migration Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met. Provide technical support and training to team members on HVR functionalities. Documentation:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for HVR setup, configurations, and procedures. Develop and update data migration plans and reports. 3.Qualifications:Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience:Proven experience with HVR or similar data replication tools. Experience in data migration projects, particularly involving ERP systems. Familiarity with OneStream ERP is a plus. Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of HVR architecture and components. Proficiency in SQL and database management. Understanding of data lake architectures and cloud storage solutions. Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality. 4.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with AWS cloud platforms and their data storage services. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks. Certification in HVR or related data replication technologies. Named Job Posting?
