HVAC Planning Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Lead and manage the HVAC planning team, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.

2. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including architects, project managers, and clients, to understand project requirements and goals.

3. Oversee the development of HVAC system designs, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

4. Conduct thorough site assessments and feasibility studies to inform HVAC system planning and design decisions. 5. Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation prepared by the HVAC planning team.

6. Work closely with the project management team to develop realistic project schedules and budgets for HVAC design and planning activities.

7. Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve HVAC planning processes.

8. Interface with clients to address technical queries, present proposals, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

9. On a day-to-day basis, monitor and follow up on manpower utilization in accordance with discussions with site or project engineers for effective manpower deployment.

10. After the project's completion, it is imperative to prepare and manage all associated documents effectively.

11. The HVAC Planning Engineer is tasked with generating and maintaining accurate as-built drawings upon the completion of projects.

REQUIREMENT:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

2. Proven experience as an HVAC Planning Engineer.

3. In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and industry best practices.

4. Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

5. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.

6. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

7. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering tools.

8. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
