Job Description – HVAC Design Engineer (6-7 Years’ Experience)

Role Overview

As an HVAC Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and reviewing HVAC systems for cleanrooms, pharmaceutical facilities, and controlled environments. The role involves preparing detailed HVAC designs, load calculations, equipment selection, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines. You will collaborate with project, validation, and execution teams to deliver efficient, reliable, and cost-effective HVAC solutions tailored to client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop cleanroom HVAC systems as per client and regulatory requirements.
• Perform heat load calculations and determine appropriate AHU grouping.
• Ensure proper area classification and pressure zoning in compliance with GMP and ISO standards.
• Select HVAC equipment including coils, fans, filters, and ducting systems.
• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and design documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and regulatory standards (e.g., ISHRAE, ASHRAE, GMP, ISO).
• Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Support project teams during design reviews, execution, and validation stages.
• Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting and optimization of HVAC systems.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in HVAC design, preferably in cleanroom/pharma projects.
• Strong knowledge of cleanroom HVAC guidelines, area classification, and pressure zoning.
• Proficiency in heat load calculation, coil selection, fan selection, and AHU design.
• Experience in BOQ preparation and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with HVAC design software (e.g., HAP, AutoCAD, Revit MEP) will be an advantage.
• Strong coordination and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
