Job Description

One of our client; a leading HVAC consulting firm in Hyderabad is hiring an HVAC Design Engineer for a permanent role. The position is open to candidates with 1–2 years of experience as well as 2-5 years of strong hands-on expertise in commercial HVAC projects.

Key Responsibilities

For 1–2 Years Experience:

• Assist in HVAC system design for commercial buildings
• Perform heat load calculations and equipment selection
• Prepare HVAC drawings using AutoCAD
• Support BOQ preparation and basic documentation
• Coordinate with senior engineers and site teams

For 2+ Years Experience:

• Independently handle complete HVAC design for commercial projects
• Perform detailed heat load calculations and system sizing
• Prepare HVAC layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings
• Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents
• Attend client meetings and technical discussions
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and coordinate with execution teams
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• 1–2 years experience (junior role) for HVAC course completed from a reputed institute OR 2+ years experience with ability to work independently
• Strong knowledge of: Heat load calculations, Commercial HVAC systems (VRF, Chillers, AHUs, Ducting, Piping, Drawings etc.), BOQ preparation and drawings
• AutoCAD skills are mandatory
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to attend client meetings and site visits
