We are expanding our Chennai operations and are looking for talented HVAC & Piping BIM Design Engineers to join our dynamic team.

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma / Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong academic background.
• Proficiency in MS Office is mandatory.
• Certification or training in BIM, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, HVAC design, or Piping design is a strong advantage.

Job Description

The HVAC & Piping BIM Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing high-quality BIM models for building services with a key focus on HVAC and Piping systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and draft HVAC & Piping systems using Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Develop, update, and implement the organization’s BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Create and validate BIM models ensuring compliance with project and company standards.
• Conduct periodic model audits, clash detection, and coordination with other engineering disciplines (structural, electrical, plumbing).
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure accurate MEP model development.
• Prepare project deliverables including BEP (BIM Execution Plan), model delivery schedules, and related technical documentation.
• Monitor LOD (Level of Development) and LOI (Level of Information) compliance across project stages.
• Develop and maintain libraries of BIM components and engineering elements.
• Prepare models for submission to authorities and participate in reviews/approvals.
• Support the creation of families, detailed elements, and BIM objects for HVAC & Piping modules.
• Ensure proper data integration and quality in PDM systems.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Revit MEP (mandatory).
• Hands-on experience in HVAC designing, duct routing, piping layout, and MEP coordination.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE standards, HVAC load calculation basics (added advantage).
• AutoCAD proficiency.
• Good understanding of multi-disciplinary coordination.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
